Ole Miss Football: Early Projections For Rebels In The 2018 NFL Draft
Jordan Wilkins, RB
Ole Miss Rebels Football
At Ole Miss, not only was Jordan Wilkins great on the field, Jordan was also a vocal leader in the locker-room whose teammates looked up to.
Those will be valuable assets for any NFL team of course, but what propels players into the draft is their performance on the field. All we have to do is take one look at Wilkins college stats and we can see how valuable he was to the Rebels.
While at Ole Miss Wilkins rushed for 1,751 career yards with 1,011 yards coming in the 2017 season. Wilkins also had 322 career receiving yards out of the backfield while scoring 14 TD.
Jordan Wilkins did attend the 2018 NFL Combine and graded out at 5.39. However, he did not actually participate in the 40-yard dash as reported by multiple NFL scouting sites. Wilkins will run his official 40 time at the upcoming Ole Miss/NFL Pro Day in Oxford next week. Wilkins who possesses all the tangibles for a NFL running-back is being graded good by many NFL scouts.
There are a few projections which have Wilkins as an un-drafted free agent. However, most have him going in the 4th to 5th round. Of course, Wilkins needs a good 40 time at the pro day in Oxford. Right now the market is flooded with a lot of very good running-backs.
Projected Round: Early 4th
