Matt Luke Gets Huge Win

After going 6 and 6 last season as an interim head coach, Matt Luke now has full control of the Ole Miss football program. In 2017 we saw a learning curve for the new head coach and his young staff. However, we did see the Rebels and their coaches get much better as the 2017  season progressed. Of course, the season ended with a 31-28 win over No.14 ranked Miss State which helped secure Matt Luke as permanent head coach.

This season we have reason to believe Ole Miss football will once again be an offensive powerhouse and will certainly be much improved on defense. This combination will result in more wins and at least one win which will become Luke’s signature win. Which game will it be? The Rebels will first face Texas Tech on September 1st. However, the third game of the season will feature the Crimson Tide in Oxford. This could be Luke’s signature win.
