Head coach Matt Luke has the best returning offense in the SEC which consists of a bevy of explosive players. With the players Matt Luke and Phil Longo have on offense they have the potential to put up record numbers in 2018. Of course, last season we saw just how good this offense can be when the targets are used.

Last season we saw AJ Brown reel in 1,252 receiving yards and 11 TDs. DK Metcalf had 646 yards and 7 TDs while DaMarkus Lodge added 698 yards and 7 TDs. If the Rebels can find equal success in the passing game in 2018 it will go a long way towards a much better season than in 2017.

The one blind spot in this offense is at the running back position because of the loss of Jordan Wilkins to graduation. However, the Rebels have a stable of backs who can step up and be the premier back in coach Phil Longo’s offense. It just depends on which one it will be. The Rebels return D’Vaughn Pennamon and Eric Swinney. The Rebels moved Armani Linton to running back while also adding juco sensation Scottie Phillips in the 2018 recruiting class.
