Ole Miss Football: Two Rebels Selected 1st Team All-SEC By Athlon
Ole Miss football was represented by two Rebels in the 2018 Athlon All-SEC Rankings for college football which were recently released.
Naturally, with the 2018 Ole Miss football season on the distant horizon there are already predictions and projections being made. One of the most prestigious preseason rankings comes from Athlon who just released their Athlon All-SEC selections. In the 2018 season there have been two Rebels selected and both are 1st team offense selections. Congratulations to WR AJ Brown and OL Greg Little on their selections.
Athlon is a very well-respected rankings firm which has been around for some time now and ranks players and teams each season throughout college football. Although I have been critical of Athlon in the past I still look for their rankings each season. Of course, this season was no different. While the rest of Ole Miss football was snubbed by Athlon for secondary SEC players we still have these two players to make the 1st Team All-SEC offense.
Looking At AJ Brown

There really isn’t a more spectacular receiver in the SEC coming into the 2018 season than AJ Brown. The Starkville native has been the cog in the NWO hub for Ole Miss football in the past two seasons. Now entering his junior season we know AJ will once again be the guy for coach Phil Longo.
In 2017 AJ was responsible for 1,252 receiving yards on 75 receptions and had 11 TDs. Of course, if Ole Miss football has any success in 2017 it will certainly revolve around AJ Brown and his ability to be an offensive weapon for the Rebels.
Looking At Greg Little
At 6’6 and 325 lbs Greg Little has become the anchor for the Ole Miss football offensive line. Little has played in every game as a true freshman in 2016 and started every game at OT as a sophomore in 2017. Of course, with a good set of hands and great footwork Little is truly one of the very best OL in the SEC coming into 2018.
