With Ole Miss football season just around the corner there are players being named to various watch-lists across the college football landscape.
Ole Miss football has been getting some attention over the past few days with a number of players being named to various watch-lists. It was announced Wednesday that offensive lineman Sean Rawlings had been named to the Rimington watch-list which is awarded to the top center in the nation.
Rawlings is one of six SEC players selected to the 2018 Rimington Trophy Watch-list. Rawlings has been a mainstay on the offensive line at center for the Rebels and is a key piece in the Rebels offense. Nothing happens without Rawlings up front as the anchor for the Rebels offensive line.

Ole Miss Rebels Football
Sean Rawlings is entering his senior season with the Rebels and has become a very good player over his years in Oxford. At 6’5 and 294 lbs Rawlings has become one of the top centers in the nation. Out of Madison Ridgeland Academy Rawlings was ranked the no.25 center in the nation out of high school. Rawlings can play anywhere on the offensive line but has become the main option at center for coach Matt Luke.
Rawlings was joined on the 2018 Rimington Trophy watch-list by Florida center TJ McCoy, Georgia center Lamont Gaillard, Miss State center Elgton Jenkins, Texas A&M center Erik McCoy and South Carolina center Donell Stanley. The Rimington Trophy watch-list has 57 of the top centers in the nation on it. Of course, they are all very good and valuable players. Rawlings is up against some really good competition but his value to the Ole Miss Rebels offense is indisputable.
Rawlings and the Rebels will kickoff their season on September 1st in Houston, Texas when they face Texas Tech. Good luck to Sean Rawlings and the Rebels! Hotty Toddy!
