Ole Miss Football: The Current State Of The 2019 Recruiting Class
After closing out an impressive 2018 Ole Miss football recruiting class coach Matt Luke is already looking at another very impressive class in 2019.
It’s never too early to look at Ole Miss football recruiting and the current 2019 class looks really good. Of course, recruiting will really heat up soon and there will be an ever-growing list of prospects visiting Oxford. As it heats up OHT wants to keep our readers in Rebel nation on top of the changing recruiting landscape.
Most Ole Miss football fans were pleasantly surprised by Luke’s 2018 class. The 21 signee class if 21 top players ranked 31st in the nation and 10th in the SEC. The class also had 5 early enrollees who were on campus for spring practice. Despite NCAA sanctions Matt Luke reeled in a very good class. Now 2019 is going to be even better.
Recruiting Update
Ole Miss Rebels Football
So far the 2019 recruiting class stands at 14 hard commits. The class ranks 16th in the nation and 8th in the SEC. The final players Luke adds could easily move the class up in the rankings. We know from the current state of Ole Miss recruiting class it will certainly get much better.
Right now the class consists of some of the top players in the state of Mississippi. Of the 14 commits there are 10 who call the Magnolia State home. As football season draws closer and once it begins we know Matt Luke will go after more top Mississippi players.
The class currently has 3 JUCO players who could probably play immediately. Many Ole Miss football fans anticipated Luke going after top JUCO players. Ole Miss has had a long-standing history of recruiting JUCO players and with the NCAA sanctions now it essential to the Rebels success to fill holes where they can with top prospects.

Recruiting never stops for college football in the modern age. With the internet and social media there is always a focus on college football recruiting. Of course, there are players attending camps this summer hoping to increase their stock. There are many players who will be interested in Ole Miss if coach Matt Luke and the Rebels can have a successful season. As football season draws closer there are already prospective commits who are listing Ole Miss football in their favorite schools.
