No.6 Joe Moorhead, Miss State

Now we will get even more hate-mail from Starkpatch. However, it’s nothing new for OHT; we are used to it by now. So welcome to Starkville, Mississippi coach Moorhead. Joe Moorhead was hired at MSU in the wake of numerous coaching changes which included the departure of Dan Mullen to Florida. Although this is his first head coaching gig in the SEC he has head coaching experience.

As a head coach Joe Moorhead has posted a record of 38-13 while coaching at Fordham. The majority of Moorhead’s coaching experience has been in the capacity of offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. While at Penn State last season Moorhead had one of the top offenses in the country. How well will Moorhead’s offense translate in the SEC?  That remains to be seen but Moorhead has the talent on the roster at MSU to do it. However, there will be a learning curve for the new Bulldogs head coach. This is why he sits at this spot.
