Ole Miss Rebels Football

In 2017 Texas Tech posted a 6-6 record with a regular season ending win over Texas to become bowl eligible. The Red Raiders fell to South Florida 38-34 in their bowl game. The Red Raiders also had wins over Baylor, Houston, Arizona State and a 65-19 win over Kansas.

Texas Tech lost some key personnel on both sides of the ball from last season, however they are very deep in all their skill positions. They did lose their quarterback and a running back to graduation and those two positions will have to be addressed before the 2018 season.

This game has shootout written all over it when you consider the offenses which Ole Miss and Texas Tech both have. The game may be a shootout and even come down to a special teams play late to win it for either team. Kickoff from Houston, Texas is set for September 1st at 11am CT and can be seen on ESPN.
