The 2019 Ole Miss football recruiting class has been shining for head coach Matt Luke and continues to add commitments to the list.

So the 2018 Ole Miss football creeps ever closer and now we are anxiously awaiting the kickoff on September 1st. Behind the scenes there is another game being played out and it is the 2019 college football recruiting season. So far coach Matt Luke and his staff have done an incredible job securing one of the top classes in the nation.

OHT has been trying our best to stay updated on recruiting but Luke and his staff have been keeping us busy. As of today the 2019 Ole Miss football recruiting class stands at 22 commits and is ranked 14th in the nation and 7th in the SEC. Of course, we can expect those numbers to increase as the 2018 season gets closer.

Coach Matt Luke and the Rebels added three new commitments since our last update. Coach Jack Biknell added two new offensive linemen to the class and Derrick Nix got the commitment of a running back. Of course, all three additions to the 2019 class are in key positions for the Longo offense.

Wednesday the Rebels received a verbal from Caleb Etienne of New Orleans. Etienne is listed as a 6’6 and 306 lb guard. Etienne is rated as a three-star. The addition was followed up Thursday with the commitment of Jeremy James of Cummings, Georgia. James is listed at 6’5 and 315 lbs and is rated as a three-star offensive tackle.

Also Thursday the Rebels received another commitment, this time at the running back position. AJ Finley of Mobile, Alabama is listed as a 6’2 180 lb three-star prospect. Finley is fast and very strong at the running back position.
