With the upcoming 2018 Ole Miss football season now just weeks away we have been asking a few questions about the Ole Miss Rebels.

Right now Ole Miss football is on the tips of most Rebels tongues. Of course, here at OHT we are just excited as everybody else about the upcoming season and the chance to see the Luke era in full force. Recently OHT released an article about ‘burning questions for 2018’ but there are other questions which come up. Most of the questions which any college football fan has this time of year begins with “How good will….”.

Don’t worry, this is common for all college football fans and not isolated to just Ole Miss. Still we ask ourselves the questions and we discuss a lot of it with other Rebels. One question which seems to pop up a lot is, how good can Jordan Ta’amu be in 2018? It’s a good honest question and OHT believes we have the answer.

When You Consider

Last season we watched as senior Jordan Ta’amu was impressive off the bench. He stepped in when Patterson went down and picked right up progressively getting better in the  2017 season. Of course, now with Patterson gone to Michigan there is no question about who the Rebels starter will be. The job belongs to Ta’amu without a doubt and we are excited. Rebels fans are looking forward to seeing him handle the Longo offense in 2018.

When you consider the numbers Ta’amu put up last season in just a hand full of starts they are impressive. In 2017 Ta’amu completed 115 of 173 passes for 1,682 yards and 11 TDs while only throwing 4 picks. Ta’amu also added 165 yards and 4 TDs on the ground. Imagine how good his numbers might be with an entire season to rack up the stats.

When you consider how well he handled the Phil Longo offense last season there is no reason to expect he can’t do it again. Also consider he has two Athlon All-Americans in wide receiver AJ Brown and tackle Greg Little. Not to mention he will play behind one of the most experienced and largest offensive lines in the nation. Trust OHT Jordan Ta’amu will have an incredible year in 2018.

Next: Burning Questions!

In Closing

Don’t be worried Ole Miss football fans. OHT has predicted the Rebels to have a great season and finish high in the SEC West. While you still may have question you can be sure of some of the obvious answers. Of course, we all want to see the best season possible for Jordan Ta’amu coach Matt Luke and the rest of the Rebels. Hotty Toddy!
