This year the SEC Media Days will be in Atlanta and the Rebels will be represented in full force. Of course, head coach Matt Luke will be the headliner for the Rebels but he will be joined by three players. The Rebels selected to appear in Atlanta Tuesday are junior defensive tackle Josiah Coatney, senior center Sean Rawlings and senior quarterback Jordan Ta’amu. All three Rebels starters are described as vocal leaders for Ole Miss football both on and off the field.

This will be the first SEC Media Days event for head coach Matt Luke. You may recall it was shortly after last years SEC Media Days when former coach Hugh Freeze parted way with Ole Miss. Coach Luke was then named interim head coach and guided the Rebels to a 6-6 season which was marked by a season ending 31-28 win over No.14 ranked Miss State in the 2017 Egg Bowl. Of course, within days of the win Ross Bjork announced Matt Luke as the new Rebels head coach.
