No.4 Miss State Bulldogs

Thanksgiving Day will see Ole Miss hosting the Miss State Bulldogs in the annual Egg Bowl. The ‘Battle for the Golden Egg’ has not favored the home team in recent years and the Bulldogs are returning a very good team. Of course, they are returning most of their roster from last season in skill positions on offense and defense. Despite Joe Moorhead being a new head coach in the SEC the Bulldogs are built to run his offense and the defense should be good. How well they do it remains to be seen.

By now you realize what the Egg Bowl means to both schools. The rivalry has grown to the point of toxic and beyond and the games are always heated and high-spirited. Naturally both teams want this game bad for a number of reasons but mainly to hoist the Egg and claim bragging rights for another year hopefully. Right now most college pundits have Miss State picked to beat the Rebels in Oxford but OHT believes the Egg Bowl record is 64-44-6 for a reason. The Golden egg stays in Oxford.
