Southern Illinois Salukis

September 8 the Ole Miss Rebels will be hosting the Southern Illinois Salukis out of the Missouri Valley Conference of the FCS. Coached by former Salukis quarterback Nick Hill Southern Illinois is another team which is loaded with very talented players yet they are simply undersized. The Salukis struggled last season to finish with a meager 4-7 record in the FCS and found themselves just short of the competition in several losses.

However the Salukis will simply be way outmatched against the Rebels. This game has the potential to be another game which gets out of hand for the visitor early and finishes ugly. The Salukis are very weak on the Rebels schedule but still have a better team than the Golden Flashes of Kent State although the final score may not indicative of it. Rebels in another blowout.
