No.1 Senquez Golsan, DB

Senquez Golson played defensive back for the Ole Miss Rebels from 2011 thru 2014 and was a ball hawk in the secondary. Senquez could play the pass or the run and without argument is one of the best defensive backs in Ole Miss history. Out of Pascagoula, Mississippi Senquez Golson was somewhat undersized for a DB at 5’9 but played much bigger and was another player who left his mark on the field and in the record books.

Senquez would finish out his college career at Ole Miss with 136 total tackles, 5.5 TFL, .5 sacks and 16 INTs.  Golson’s 16 career INTs rank T-3rd on the Ole Miss All-time interceptions list and his 10 INTs in 2014 rank T-1st on the All-time single-season interceptions list. Senquez would be selected in the 2nd round as the 56th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Due to a streak of unfortunate injuries Golson’s NFL career in Pittsburgh was cut short in 2017. Golson has since been part of both the Tampa Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.
