No.3 Cody Prewitt, DB

Cody Prewitt played defensive back for Ole Miss football from 2011 thru 2014 and was a beast in the secondary. Out of Bay Springs, Mississippi Prewiit was highly recruited and sought after by many D-I schools but Prewitt came to Oxford and made an immediate impact. Prewitt started 4 game his freshman season and never looked back becoming a regular starter in the secondary and another fan favorite because of his relentless and aggressive play. Prewitt made his mark on both the field and the Ole Miss record books.

Cody finished out his career as a Rebel with 246 total tackles with 8 TFL while recording 1.5 sacks and 12 INTs. Prewitt also had 5 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries while playing as a Rebel. Prewitt’s 12 INTs rank 8th on the Ole Miss All-time list. Despite a stellar college career Prewitt went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft but later signed as an undrafted free-agent with the Tennessee Titans where he spent a short time. Prewitt most recently played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
