Solid Rebels Passing Game

So far in 2018 the Ole Miss passing game has been phenomenal and has been very efficient and consistent. Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has been amazing completing 45 of 65 attempts for 784 yards and 7 TDs with no interceptions. We’ve seen Ta’amu be very accurate on passes with few exceptions and money with his deep pass. Right now the Rebels have the No.8 offense in the nation and Saturday will have to continue to play like it. Ta’amu will have to continue to be poised and make good throws.

The Alabama defense is very good and have some very talented players but the secondary is working with four new starters this season. Saban knows this and wants to avoid Ta’amu the opportunity to make the deep throw. Jordan and the offense can expect to see a variety of looks from the Tide and will try to dominate the line and get pressure on Ta’amu forcing short throws and errors. The Rebels offensive line has to stop the Tide front four and pick up the blitz. With three of the Top5 receivers in the SEC we should see some big plays if Ta’amu has time to make the throws.
