Saturday night is one Ole Miss football fans want to forget but even in the ugly 62-7 loss to the Tide there are things which we learned.

No doubt Saturday night was a very bad night for Ole Miss football as they took on the No.1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Although the Rebels jumped on the board first with a beautiful 75 yard TD hook-up from Jordan Ta’amu to DK Metcalf it did little to help the Rebels after the first 11 seconds of the game. The Rebels were dominated the rest of the game and fell to the Tide in an ugly 62-7 blowout.

A lot of fans were really not surprised by the outcome while others were surprised the game wasn’t much closer. Of course the No.1 Crimson Tide were favored in the game and with the Rebels 128th ranked defense many fans had already predicted the outcome with the Rebels taking the loss. However, by the third game of the season we had hoped we had seen major improvement in some areas which we obviously didn’t. Of course there are some things we already knew and some things we learned.
