Coach Matt Luke and Ole Miss football are set to take on the Auburn Tigers this Saturday and here some important keys to the Rebels getting the victory.

Saturday morning Ole Miss football (5-2, 1-2) will be facing yet another tough SEC opponent in the Auburn Tigers (4-3, 1-3). This is an important game for both teams and both still have a lot left to play for despite their circumstances and/or records. Auburn and Ole Miss will both be heading into bye weeks after the Saturday match-up and a win for either team would be huge.

This is a very similar situation for both teams yet the two teams are total opposites. Coach Gus Malzahn will see if his offense can finally get on track and if his defense can hold back Jordan Ta’amu and the fast-paced Phil Longo offense. Coach Matt Luke will see if the offense can continue to run and gun and if the Wesley McGriff defense will be able to hold back a strong Auburn running game.

Yes, there is a lot for both teams to play for and Gus Malzahn will be bringing in an Auburn team which will be dead set on getting their second SEC win. This will be a very tough match-up for the Rebels on both sides of the ball. However this game could be a Rebels victory should the Rebels do some very important things correctly. Here are five important keys to the Rebels getting the win so let’s get busy.
