Finish What We Start

We saw this past Saturday there is no quit in this Ole Miss football team. However,  I used the words of Chucky Mullins here to make a good point. Since the Auburn game last season this football team has been thru a lot. Some of it has been good and some have been bad but the core of this team from 2017 stuck together. They haven’t quit.

So rewind to October 7, 2017 to the Auburn game. Down 35-3 at halftime on the road something began to click and the Rebels held Auburn to just 9 second half points. Of course, the Rebels still didn’t win the 44-23 decision but this game was the turning point for coach Matt Luke and this Ole Miss football team.

Since that day the Rebel have played 14 games and have a record of 9-5. Not too shabby for a team which all the ‘people in the know’ said we would be terrible because of the NCAA sanctions and transfers. Apparently coach Matt Luke and the Ole Miss Rebels know something the pundits didn’t. This ride didn’t begin this season although 2018 is all that really matters at this point. However, we started this fight last season and now we just have to finish it. Never Quit and Hotty Toddy!
