If you want to figure out where the Ole Miss baseball program begins then you should have to look no further than coach Mike Bianco. Coach Bianco enters his 19th season as the Ole Miss baseball coach and is considered the ‘Dean’ of SEC coaches being the longest tenured head coach among Big-3 SEC sports.

In Bianco’s eighteen seasons he has also become the winningest coach in Ole Miss athletics history with a record of 710-412-1 with a winning percentage of .632. Fifteen of those seasons Bianco has led the Rebels into the postseason averaging 40 wins a season over the last decade.

Mike Bianco is not just a great baseball coach but has also established himself as a recruiter of top talent and has seen 36 players over his tenure to be named as All-American or Freshman All-American.

The success which the Rebels have seen on the baseball diamond has been noted and well documented with 106 Rebels being selected in the MLB draft which includes seven players from the 2018 Ole Miss baseball team selected in the 2018 MLB Draft. There is no doubt among Ole Miss baseball fans that Mike Bianco is the right coach to have in charge.
