Coach Kermit Davis and Ole Miss basketball will be back in action Saturday as they travel looking for their twentieth win of the season on the road.

Ole Miss basketball (19-9, 9-6) and coach Kermit Davis will be looking to get back in the win column with their 20th win of the season this Saturday. The Rebels will be travelling to Fayetteville to face the Arkansas Razorbacks (14-14, 5-10). The Rebels are entering the weekend matchup coming off a 73-71 loss to No.7 Tennessee in a game which the Rebels should have won.

The Arkansas Razorbacks enter the matchup coming off a 66-70 loss to No.4 Kentucky and will be a tough SEC road game for the Rebels. The Hogs have some very talented players and are well coached. The Hogs have had some tough very close losses but also have wins over Indiana and LSU which show how good they really are. OHT takes a closer look at some of the Hogs key players.

Sophomore forward Daniel Gafford leads the Razorbacks in a number of categories. Gafford leads the Hogs in scoring averaging 16.5 points per game. Gafford also leads the Hogs in both rebounds and blocks. Gafford averages 8.9 boards and 2.0 blocks per game.

Freshman guard Isaiah Joe leads the Hogs in both 3-point field goal percentage and steals. Joe hits 42.6% of his shots from beyond the arc and averages 1.7 steals per game. Joe also averages 14.3 points per game and 2.3 boards per game.

Junior guard Jalen Harris leads the Hogs in assists with 5.3 feeds per game while freshman forward Ethan Henderson leads Arkansas in field goal percentage hitting 66.7% of his shots from the field.

Observations

The last meeting between Ole Miss and Arkansas resulted in a 84-67 Rebels blowout in Oxford. However, we know any SEC road game can be very difficult. The Rebels have just three games left to find the magical 20th win and will be hunting it this Saturday. Wednesday night we watched as the Rebels gave No.7 Tennessee a black eye and likely sealed their NCAA Tourney bid behind strong guard play and we should see it against the Hogs.
