No.22 Ole Miss softball was back in action Sunday as the Rebels were looking for a huge SEC series win over the No.6 Florida Gators.

Coach Mike Smith and No.22 Ole Miss softball (24-9, 5-3) picked up a huge game-two win Saturday to even the SEC series against No.6 Florida (29-8, 3-6). Sophomore Abbey Latham’s walk-off grand slam secured the Saturday win. The Rebels were back in action Sunday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex and were looking to stay in the win column and take the series.

The Rebels wasted no time getting started and got on the board first with 1 run in the bottom of the first inning to take the 1-0 lead. After a scoreless second frame the Gators answered with 1 run in the top of the third to tie the game at 1-1. Ole Miss responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the third to retake the lead at 3-1. Behind shut down pitching the Rebels picked up the game-three 3-1 win. OHT looks at the huge win by the numbers.
