Elijah Moore

There is little doubt there will fans Saturday who will be watching the 2019 Grove Bowl in anticipation of the new look of the Rich Rod spread offense. One aspect of coach Rodriguez’s offense we want to see is in the passing game and with three starters from the 2018 NWO headed to the NFL draft we are anxious to see which Ole Miss receivers step up and become the go-to guy for QB Matt Corral.

In 2018 we watched as a true freshman wide receiver grew up against the best defenses in the SEC. Now a sophomore we can expect much more from Elijah Moore and this Saturday we can count on him being significant factor in the passing game. Moore runs great routes, has great hands and speed and is electric in the open field after the catch. In 2018 Elijah Moore had 36 receptions for 398 yards and 2 TDs. Moore also averaged 18.5 yards per return on kickoffs in 2018.
