Tylan Knight

When it comes to the Ole Miss rushing game we really can’t be sure what to expect from new OC Rich Rodriguezz but we do know is a renewed focus on the run in 2019. With that being said we know we have some great backs while many of them are still very young. Last season we watched as a number of true freshmen were used out of the backfield and performed well on the college level.

While most of the focus out of the backfield in 2018 was on Scottie Phillips we did see some younger RBs. One we watched was sophomore Tylan Knight who played on both sides of the ball as a true freshman. While we can’t be sure how much impact Knight will make in the new 3-4 defense, we do know he is having a great spring in the offense. In 2018 Knight finished with just 19 carries for 107 yards and also averaged 16.7 yards per return on kickoffs.
