Ole Miss Rebels

The new 3-4 defense under Mike Mac is very physical with experienced players. The Rich Rod version of the spread will be as equally fun to watch in 2019. What we know is the Rebels defense is returning 8 starters while the offense lost 8 starters from 2018.

Ole Miss football fans have had concerns for both sides of the ball but Saturday we were able to see just a little bit of what they are capable of. Of course, with the gaps left from 2018 on offense most Rebels fans were busy watching the Rebels in blue.

Head coach Matt Luke was the hands-on guy for the Grove Bowl while both new coordinators were located in the press box. However, no matter what your perspective was for the game you were probably watching as much as he was and were likely impressed with what you saw.
