Coach Matt Luke and Ole Miss football landed a major ‘Mississippi Made’ commitment Monday night in Josaih Hayes of Horn Lake.
Recruiting is beginning to heat up for coach Matt Luke and Ole Miss football. Mid-summer temps are going up and Ole Miss recruiting is no different. Monday evening things heated up when Matt Luke and the Rebels landed a huge Horn Lake commitment.
Monday evening, Josaih Hayes of Horn Lake announced he had committed to Matt Luke and Ole Miss. Hayes is one of the top rated players in Mississippi and brings the 2020 Ole Miss recruiting class to six commits. The Ole Miss class currently ranks nationally at No.36 and an SEC rank at No.11.

Josaih Hayes is rated as a 4-star DT. Listed at 6’3 and 296lbs Hayes is rated as the overall No.3 player in the State of Mississippi and rated as the No.17 defensive tackle in the nation with a 247Sports Composite of 0.9207.
Recruited by Ole Miss coaches Charles Clark and Freddie Roach, Hayes also held offers from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and LSU. This was a huge commitment for Matt Luke and the 2020 recruiting class.
Hayes is the fourth defensive player to commit to Ole Miss and is also the fourth player from Mississippi to make the call to Matt Luke and the 2020 Ole Miss recruiting class.
