Ole Miss Football: Rebels recruiting keeps adding up
Ole Miss football recruiting has been rolling hard and the 2020 class is adding up quickly for coach Matt Luke and the Rebels.
While many Ole Miss fans have been focused on baseball over the past few months, coach Matt Luke and Ole Miss football have been focused on the 2020 Ole Miss recruiting class. Over the past couple of weeks the numbers of commitments for Luke and the Rebels have been adding up and starting to make waves.
As of this release the Rebels have added 8 commitments in 8 days which brought the 2020 recruiting class total to 13 commits. Currently the 2020 Ole Miss recruiting class ranks 20th in the nation and 8th in the SEC and Matt Luke and his staff are just getting cranked up. The ball started rolling with 4* DT Josaih Hayes of Horn Lake when he announced his commitment on June 3.
The New Commits

June 5, An’Darius Coffey pulled the trigger for Luke and the Rebels. Coffey is listed as a 3* ATH out of Winona and has a 247 Sports Composite of 0.8498. Coffey is considered the No.23 player in Mississippi.
June 7 saw Luke and the Rebels gain the commitment from 3* TE DaMarcus Thomas of Saraland, Alabama. Thomas has a 247 Sports Composite of 0.8265 and is ranked as the No.66 player in Alabama.
June 9 was the big day for Matt Luke and Ole Miss football recruiting as the Rebels picked up 4 commitments. The Rebels began with commitments from 3* RB Kentrel Bullock of Columbia and 3* JUCO CB Lakevias Daniel of Jones County JC.
Bullock has a 247 Sports Composite of 0.8026 and is ranked the No.19 player in Mississippi while Daniel is ranked as the No. 8 JUCO player in the state.
Sunday also saw commitments from 3* OG Kahlil Benson of Southaven and 3* OT Luke Shouse of Brentwood, Tennessee. Benson is listed at 6’6 qnd 305lbs and ranked as the No.26 player in Mississippi while Shouse is listed as 6’6 and 255lbs and ranked the No.44 player in Tennessee.
Tuesday, Matt Luke and the Rebels added the commitment of 3* OT Robert Scott of Conway, Arkansas. Scott is listed at 6’6 and 295lbs and has a 247 Sports Composite of 0.8675. Scott is ranked as the No.5 player in Arkansas.
