Ole Miss Football: Top five Rebels on offense returning in 2021

While there was loose talk about Matt Corral transferring before the 2020 season, Ole Miss football fans didn’t have to worry. A new and improved Corral had no intentions of being anything but the Rebels starter. After the 2020 season was over, Corral once again eased Rebels fan’s minds by stating he would be back in Oxford for the 2021 season. Corral is a Rebels quarterback now and will always be a Rebels quarterback.
As the Ole Miss passing leader over the past two seasons, Corral is considered to be one of the best returning quarterbacks in the nation. All one has to do is look at what he did in the 2020 season and can see he is set to have an awesome 2021 season as well. In 2020, Corral completed 241 passes of 326 attempts for 3,337 yards and 29 touchdowns with 14 interceptions. Corral also was the second-leading rusher on the team with 112 carries for 618 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Look at the 2020 season accolades that Corral had and one can see just how good Corral is in the Kiffin/Lebby and how college football pundits see him as a versatile quarterback.

There is no doubt about what Matt Corral and the Ole Miss offense can possibly do in the 2021 season. Looking at the potency of the Kiffin/ Lebby offense and just how good they were in 2020 one has to believe next season can be as good next season with the right quarterback at the helm. Matt Corral is the right quarterback.

OHT has projected the top-five returning Rebels on offense for the 2021 season. 2020 was awesome given the variables of a Covid-19 influenced season. 2021 can and will be even better.
