Rebels fans have already concluded the Ole Miss Rebels linebackers corps is a treat for DJ Durkin and the Rebels defense. Junior Jacquez Jones may be the absolute best on the defense. Just a junior, Jones led the Rebels in tackles with 75  in 2021.

At 6’0 and 230 lbs, Jones is the perfect size at the linebacker position. A hard hitter in the middle of the field, Jones plays the run very well and is also good against the pass across the middle. Jones finished the 2020 season with 75 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 3 quarterback hurries. Jones will be a key piece of any success that Ole Miss football finds in 2021.
