Alabama Crimson Tide

What better start for the SEC part of the schedule than a matchup with the 2020 SEC and National Champion. The Alabama Crimson Tide has become synonymous with college football and winning championships. When teams see the name ‘Crimson Tide’ on their schedules they automatically believe it will be a loss. This isn’t the case for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels. After a bye week and with no losses, the Rebels will have something to prove in Tuscaloosa on October 2.

In 2020, the Crimson Tide went 13-0 and won the National Championship with a 52-24 win over Ohio State. Of course, that 13-0 record didn’t come without a helluva scare for Nick Saban and the Tide when they visited Oxford. The Rebels put up 48 points and 647 total yards of offense against Bama which is the most ever in the history of Alabama football.

Snoop Conner and Jerrion Ealy combined for 248 yards and 4 TDs, the first time that Nick Saban has given up over 100 yards rushing and 2 TDs to two running backs in a single game. Matt Corral and the Rebels’ wide receivers added 365 passing yards and 2 TDs. Everybody says a college football championship runs through Tinseltown. It just may for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels and this will be a good one but the Rebels will have to get a few breaks to get the win.
