While Ole Miss football has already done the majority of their big-name signings ahead of national signing day, we are going to take a look at the players who signed on NSD and take a look at the overall recruiting class for Ole Miss football in 2023.

Most of the incoming talent for Ole Miss football in 2023 has already signed their intent to play for the Rebels next season. With that being said, this year’s national signing day was a bit lackluster regarding blockbuster news with recruits announcing their commitments.

Although we already knew the majority of signees that will be taking their talents to Oxford this upcoming season, here we will recap the Rebels’ incoming recruiting class and see exactly where Ole Miss stands in college football recruiting classes.

This list will look at all the high school signees for the upcoming season, not transfers. Here’s a look at all of the recruits that have committed to play for Ole Miss football in 2023:

Suntarine Perkins, LB, Raleigh, MS

Suntarine Perkins is the gem of the 2023 Ole Miss football recruiting class. He is the only five-star prospect on the list and is listed as the number one overall player in the state of Mississippi and the third-best linebacker in the country.

Perkins is a difference maker, and this type of prospect does not often come around for Ole Miss. Perkins is the highest-rated recruit for the Rebels since the number one overall player in the country Robert Nkemdiche in 2013.

Ayden Williams, WR, Ridgeland, MS

Ole Miss football has produced some top receivers over the years and Ayden Williams could be the next big name in the Rebels’ receiving game. A consensus four-star recruit, he is ranked as the second-best overall recruit in the state of Mississippi behind fellow Ole Miss commit Suntarine Perkins.

Kedrick Reescano, RB, New Caney, TX

Another four-star recruit, Reescano is ranked as the eighth overall running back in the country by 247 sports. He will likely be in the mix early in the Rebels’ backfield adding a nice compliment to freshman All-American Quinshon Judkins.

Braxton Myers, S, Coppell, TX

Ole Miss will be getting some much-needed help in the Secondary with the addition of safety Braxton Myers after being in the bottom half of pass defenses in the SEC a year ago. The 6’1, 185-pound safety chose Ole Miss over schools like USC, Auburn, Arkansas, and others.

Jamarious Brown, Edge, Moss Point, MS

One of the few Mississippi products in this class, Brown is the highest rated among a list of edge rushers coming to Oxford in 2023. Brown is rated as a four-star product by 247 Sports and also held offers from Alabama and Auburn.

Brycen Sanders, OL, Chattanooga, TN

Sanders is only one of two total offensive line commitments for Ole Miss football in this class. The 6’5, 280-pounder will bring some much-needed depth to the Rebels’ o-line after losing a couple of starters from a year ago.

DeeJay Holmes, Edge, Pahokee, FL

The latest addition to announce his commitment to the Rebels, Holmes was one of the few high school recruits this year to make his announcement of where he will play in 2023 on signing day.

The 6’3, 230-pound edge rusher from Pahokee, Florida is a consensus three-star recruit and will add some much-needed depth to the Rebels’ defensive line rotation.

Chamberlain Campbell, Edge, Saint Petersburg, FL

Edge rusher Chamberlain Campbell, out of Lakewood High School in Saint Petersburg, Florida, decided to make his commitment the day before National Signing Day. Campbell is another three-star Florida product that will add to the Rebels’ pass rush strength.

Ahmad Brown, S, Cordele, GA

Holding offers from big-time programs like Clemson and Auburn, Brown committed to the Rebels back in December. He is the second safety in this class and will help bolster the rebels secondary along with fellow commit Braxton Myers.

Cayden Lee, WR, Kennesaw, GA

Lee was another early signee for the Rebels back in December. At 5’11, 175 pounds, Lee is a speedster that will be an exciting addition to an always strong receiving corps for Ole Miss football.

Jayvontay Conner, TE, Kernersville, NC

A three-star recruit, Conner is the only tight end in the Rebels’ 2023 list of commitments.

The Kernersville, North Carolina product will have a chance to see action early on as the Rebels’ tight end position is currently up in the air after last year’s top transfer Michael Trigg had a disappointing year and also the addition of veteran Caden Prieskorn in the transfer portal adding to the competition.

Daniel Demery, S, Dallas, TX

Ole Miss has built somewhat of a pipeline in the state of Texas over the last couple of years and Dallas native Daniel Demery is the latest Texan to bring his talents to Oxford. Demery is the third safety commit in this class in an attempt to overhaul the back end of the defense.

Ethan Fields, OL, Geismar, LA

The second offensive line commit for Ole Miss in this class, Fields will help bring some depth to the Rebels’ O-line.

Skielar Mann, LB, Fort Valley, GA

Three-star-rated linebacker,  Mann signed his national letter of intent to play for Ole Miss back in December as well. He brings some versatility to the defense as he played both linebacker and edge rusher in high school and has the skills to move around and play both positions effectively.
