Catching you up on the latest Ole Miss news: Ole Miss baseball announces that there will be enhancements for game days coming to Swayze Field this spring.
Ole Miss Baseball kicks off its’ 2023 season in just two days on Friday, February 17 at 4:00 p.m. against the University of Delaware. As Rebel fans prepare to make the trip to Swayze Field, many new changes and enhancements will be present at the Ole Miss ballpark.
For starters, fans can now purchase parking passes ahead of time with the Clutch app for both the Ford Center and South parking lots. Shuttles will operate three hours before all weekend series games and two hours before weekday games begin.
Possibly the largest change fans will notice will come from the all-new lighting system that has been installed around Swayze Field. New LED lights will illuminate the stadium with over 150 new lights added.
All new National Championship signage will be hanging throughout Oxford-University Stadium and there will also be a new lineup of concession stand offerings heading into the 2023 season. You can read more in depth about all of the updates that will be coming to Swayze here.
Other Ole Miss News: Head Coach Lane Kiffin is making some more additions to the Rebels staff hiring two new analysts for Ole Miss Football.
After overhauling practically the entire defensive staff this offseason, Rebels’ head coach Lane Kiffin is making a few more additions that will include former Ole Miss football running back Enrique Davis and former NFL wide receiver Patrick Carter.
Davis was a member of the Rebels’ football team playing running back from 2008-2011. He spent last season as the running backs coach at Western Kentucky.
Carter played wide receiver for the University of Louisville from 2006-07 and spent some time in the NFL playing for a few teams from 2008-11. He was most recently coaching high school football.
