Catching you up on the latest Ole Miss football news: Top player for the class of 2024, wide receiver Jeremy Scott has committed to Ole Miss.

While we get ready for college football’s spring football season right around the corner this is usually the quietest time in terms of news around the college football world.

We do however have some positive news recently regarding the future of Ole Miss football. This past week the Rebels received a commitment from one of the top players in the State of Mississippi.

Wide Receiver Jeremy Scott of Callaway, MS decided to stay home and committed to play college football at Ole Miss. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound receiver is a big, athletic pass-catcher who has great speed and is a 1-on-1 nightmare. A two-sport athlete, Scott is also a standout baseball player for Callaway High School

Scott chose Ole Miss over teams like Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt to name a few. The big wide receiver had a total of 18 scholarship offers. While we will have to wait a year to see Scott at Ole Miss as he is in the class of 2024, the future looks bright as Lane Kiffin begins picking up commitments early.
