Ole Miss baseball notched a much-needed win on Tuesday night against the Memphis Tigers by a score of 7-2.

The Rebels scored early and often in the contest pushing in seven runs on six hits in the first four innings. Ole Miss hit .444 with runners in scoring position on the night. Memphis struggled offensively, utilizing nine total pitchers and only one of their pitchers going for more than an inning.

With the win Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco is now second all-time for wins by a coach in the SEC, picking up his 871st win as the head coach for the Rebels.

Tonight the Rebels are back in conference play taking on the Arkansas Razorbacks in a series that runs Thursday through Saturday. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. at Swayze Field.
