The week 12 game against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday is seen as a cupcake game. However, coming off the back of the Georgia game, it’s much needed. Here are three players who need a big game on Saturday.

Tre Harris, WR

The Ole Miss offense only had 14 receptions against Georgia. Tre Harris only had two of those receptions for 12 yards. That was a season-low in receiving yards but not receptions.Harris only had one against Arkansas that went for 26 yards.

It’s not a knock on him, with the Georgia defense stifling the passing game for most of the day. Tre Harris will decide his future after the season is out. He could likely head for the NFL draft this time around. So a big game against ULM on Saturday would be good after the forgetful Georgia game.

The game after the Arkansas match-up, Harris bounced back with a 100-yard receiving  game. We could likely see those kind of numbers again.

Jaxson Dart, QB

Jaxson Dart has had more ups than downs this season. Saturday was a big down, completing ten passes for 112 passing yards. Against a defense like Georgia, that can happen to most college quarterbacks.

Dart has taken huge strides this year after a disappointing end to last season. It looks like he will finish this time around with fewer turnovers than in 2022. While also finishing with more passing yards, potentially passing the 3,000 mark.

A 300-yard game on Saturday gets him on the edge of breaking that milestone. If Dart can also hit a high percentage of completions, it shows a good mentality to forget about last weekend.

Deantre Prince, CB

It could have been a few defensive players names above but Deantre Prince had a tough game. He was caught out a few times in coverage, along with other players.

The defense gave up 311-passing yards and especially had trouble keeping tabs on Georgia receiver Ladd McConkey. Prince was beaten a couple of times by the talented route runner.

Again, Georgia are a very talented team. It doesn’t stop you being disappointed. A big game from Prince and the rest of the defense would set them up for the week 13 Egg Bowl.
