With the end of the 2023 college football season approaching, the Rebel’s sights are set on setting the roster up for 2024. It is likely Ole Miss lose a handful of players to the NFL and potentially some to the transfer portal.

Luckily for Ole Miss, they have a head coach who has a knack for picking up productive players in the transfer portal. Kiffin will already be looking at players who have entered the portal.

Wide receiver is a likely area that Kiffin will be looking at addressing. There is uncertainty if Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins and Dayton Wade will be back for another season. Also, the future of Zakhari Franklin is uncertain. Will the below WRs that have entered the transfer portal be on Kiffin’s radar?

Eric McAlister

Standing at 6-foot-4, McAlister has an excellent frame and is talented in contested catches. He is a big threat in the red zone, with solid hands.

McAlister left the Broncos early In November, recently speaking out that there was “fake energy and fake love” from the Boise State management. When HC Andy Avalos was fired, McAlister made efforts to try to get back and play for the team.

In his two seasons with the Broncos, McAlister had 58 catches for 1,131 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He redshirted in his freshman season and has two years of eligibility left.

Now McAlister is in the transfer portal, there should be plenty of interest from Power Five teams. I’m sure Kiffin will be doing his due diligence on the Texas-born receiver.
