Gerquan Scott

Southern Miss offensive lineman Gerquan Scott could be an Ole Miss player very soon if his official visit to Oxford has gone well this weekend. Scott has two more official visits in the next few weeks at South Carolina and Auburn. However, Scott has said that those visits might not happen if everything goes well with the visit to Oxford.

Gerquan Scott is a three-year starter at left guard for the Golden Eagles. The 330lb, 6-foot-4 lineman has also played snaps at centre and right guard.

Scott was a three-star prospect from the 2019 class, redshirting in his first season. Since then, he has been one of the first names on the Southern Miss offensive line.

As it stands, it looks like a 50/50 chance with Auburn of acquiring Scott, according to On3 recruiting. It would be a great addition to offensive line coach John Garrison’s group.
