Davion Carter

Davion Carter is ranked as a top-five interior offensive lineman in the transfer portal in the early stages of the cycle, per On3.

Carter was a three-star prospect out of JUCO in 2022, signing with Memphis. He has started 25 games for the Tigers, including all 12 during this season. In his 12 starts, he has only allowed one sack and seven quarterback hurries.

In the 2023 season, he has been one of the most impressive offensive linemen in the Group of Five. Carter is a very good blocker in the run game, helping Memphis to 1,810 team rushing yards.

At 6-foot-3 and 285lbs, he would fit in really well into the Ole Miss as a powerful run blocker while also offering much-needed assistance as a pass blocker.

Carter is a Mississippi native, representing Northwest Mississippi C.C. in his 2021 freshman season. He is an offensive lineman Ole Miss are keeping tabs on, but no move has been made yet to offer the big guard. If they do make an offer, it looks like they will be fighting with Auburn again.

As it stands, Carter holds an offer from Texas Tech, which he received today.
