In the last week, Ole Miss have had some positive news at wide receiver. First, they grabbed a commitment from the top JUCO transfer in Deion Smith. Then a few days later, Jordan Watkins announced he was staying at Ole Miss for his potentially final college season.

This season’s leading receiver in yards for the Rebels was Tre Harris. He is still yet to announce his decision on whether he will be back for one more year.

Kiffin has sent offers out to some transfer portal receivers. One of those players was South Carolina transfer Antwane “Juice” Wells Jr.

Recent news has emerged that Wells had cancelled his Texas visit. This was said to be alongside Lane Kiffin visiting Wells at his home in Fayetteville on Monday. Confidence is swinging in favour of Wells transferring to the Rebels, with a crystal ball prediction being made by Ole Miss insider David Johnson on the 247sports site.

If Kiffin can get a commitment from the talented receiver, it would be an impressive receiver room for quarterback Jaxson Dart to throw to.
