The 2024 college football season will see a new look Southeastern Conference, with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma. Divisions will be scrapped, with the top two in the 16-team conference making the SEC Championship game.

It also means the divisional opponents Ole Miss usually play annually will come less frequently. The Egg Bowl rivalry game will stay as an annual game on Thanksgiving weekend.

On the NFL Monday night football ManningCast game, Peyton and Eli got the inside scoop. They revealed two game dates for the 2024 SEC season, including Ole Miss-LSU.

Eli announced that Ole Miss would travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU on Saturday, Oct.12. They dubbed it Manning Saturday, with the other game announced being Florida at Tennessee. Eli was the quarterback at Ole Miss, while Peyton quarterbacked at Tennessee.

It will be one of the key match-ups on the Ole Miss schedule in 2024, with both teams likely pushing for an SEC championship game spot.

The Ole Miss-LSU game in 2023 was one of the best games in college football, with the Rebels taking down the Tigers in Oxford 55-49.

This time around, it will be a difficult test for Ole Miss, with the game being in Baton Rouge. The last time Ole Miss beat LSU on the road was back in 2009.

Lane Kiffin is already assembling a team that will be a tough match-up for any team next season. 2024 looks like Ole Miss are all-in for a special season.
