Record breaking game for Jordan Watkins vs. Arkansas

Who can forget Jordan Watkins's "I'm Him" moment against Arkansas? Everything he caught turned to gold in that game, and he stepped up when Tre Harris was injured. Watkins accounted for 62.5% of the team's touchdowns and 36.6% of the total offensive yards.

His first catch gave a good idea of how the day may pan out for Watkins: a 62-yard touchdown pass down the side, a perfectly timed pass that dropped into stride for the wide receiver. The second was near identical but thrown over the top of the cornerback on the other side of the field, a 66-yard touchdown this time.

Two catches for over 100 receiving yards, his third and fourth receptions of the day, set him up for his fifth reception, the hat-trick score. It was an extraordinary first half for the new father, with the personal news giving him superpowers on the field.

Watkins added two more touchdowns in the second half in a 63-31 rout over the Razorbacks. Not only did he play a major part in helping the Rebels win the game, but he also set program records. Watkins's name will be etched into the program until his records of most receiving yards (254) and touchdowns (5) in one game are broken.
