The Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium is getting ready for another electric Magnolia Bowl matchup this Saturday.
Besides a packed crowd cheering for a highly anticipated game between No. 4 LSU and No. 11 Ole Miss, the Rebels will also be hosting some of the top high-school talents from across the country who could be the next Ole Miss stars by 2027.
The stage is set for what seems to be one of the biggest recruiting events Lane Kiffin hosts this year. Here is a look at some of the top recruits visiting Oxford this weekend for Ole Miss vs. LSU.
QB Keegan Croucher
Croucher, a four-star prospect from Cheshire (Conn.), has shortlisted the Rebels in his final three picks. The 6'4, 205-pound QB is projected as a high Power 4 prospect who could be recruited at a national level.
This weekend would be the perfect chance for the Rebels to lure him from Oregon and Penn State, the other two shortlisted teams on Croucher's radar.
WR Easton Royal
Easton Royal, a New Orleans (La.) Brother Martin five-star wide receiver continues to gain traction as one of the most sought-after wideouts in the class of 2027.
What's more interesting about Royal is that he is a recruiting target for both Ole Miss and LSU, which adds to the tension between the teams.
Other than the Rebels and the Tigers, Florida Gators, Texas Longhorns, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Florida State Seminoles, Tennessee Volunteers, and several other top schools have extended offers to the 5'11, 185-pound WR.
OL Li'Marcus Jones
Another four-star recruit, Li'Marcus Jones of Jackson (Miss.) Calloway High will be in attendance at the Vaught-Hemmingway this Saturday.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder offensive lineman from Jackson has been on the list of several top schools like Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M Aggies, Oregon Ducks, Colorado Buffaloes, and Tennessee Volunteers, among others.
Jones had committed to Ole Miss earlier this year in March, but withdrew his pledge later. A visit to Ole Miss signals he might be eyeing the program again.
DB Elijajuan Houston
North Crowley three-star prospect Elijajuan Houston is another prospect Ole Miss hosts this weekend.
Quickly gaining buzz in the SEC, the defensive back is sought after by coveted programs like Nebraska Cornhuskers, Texas Longhorns, Baylor Bears, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and SMU Mustangs.
Houston will be present at Vaught-Hemmingway this Saturday.
Edge Derwin Fields
Brookhaven (Miss.) four-star edge Derwin Fields is another top prospect that Kiffin plans to impress, and potentially lure in, on Saturday.
With other programs like Alabama, Auburn, and Florida hot on his trail, the 6'5, 220-pound will make a great defensive block in whichever team he selects.
All the recruiting and the clash against LSU itself makes it one of the most crucial Saturdays for Ole Miss.
