We're dancing for the fifth-straight time! Ole Miss basketball deserved its name to be called on Selection Sunday after pouring its blood, sweat, and tears into the 23-11 season.
The Pavilion bursting out with the loudest cheers their lungs can muster when the ESPN presenters announced Ole Miss as the No. 5 seed in the Sacramento 2 region poves the standard Coach Yo has set in her time in Oxford.
As the No. 5 seed, the Rebels will travel for their fifth-straight game, this time to Minneapolis to take on the No. 12 seed Gonzaga in the first round on March 20.
Their incredible run till the semifinals in the SEC Tournament has the Rebel Nation buzzing about their solid-looking Sweet 16 chances.
The Rebels did hit a wall towards the end of their season, which Coach Yo blamed on her team finding its defensive identity. It didn't take too long for the Rebels to do that, though, as suggested by their incredible SEC Tournament run that ended with an 85-68 semifinal loss to Texas.
Here is how the Round One schedule looks, and what Coach Yo's team needs to prepare for this week.
