The stunning shot from Minnesota's Amaya Battle with less than 4 seconds on the clock, and a missed opportunity from Ole Miss that will haunt Oxford the entire offseason, sealed the Gophers' 65-63 win — officially punching their Sweet 16 ticket for the first time in 21 years.

After Battle's basket, Ole Miss had 0.8 seconds to make a last-gasp effort for the win, but the three-pointer caught the front of the rim and clanged off as the buzzer sounded.
"Disappointed how we ended the game. I thought that there were opportunities from the beginning of the game to the end of the game where we could have taken control of our destiny," Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin said post-game.
"We did that coming out of halftime and if you want to know how home court advantage feels, I feel like their fans won them that game today. I'm not discrediting their play, with an awesome shot by the Battle kid at the end, but their fans won them that game. You couldn't hear. Just an incredible environment."
Ole Miss concludes its season with a 24-12 overall record, its fifth straight appearance at the NCAA Tournament, its 15th-ever appearance in the tournament's second round (third in four years), the fifth-most points by an Ole Miss team in a single season ever, and the sixth-most team 3-pointers made in a single season.
