Several college football analysts have a clear agenda against the Southeastern Conference, but not many, if any, share Danny Kanell's dislike for the SEC.

Hot takes plenty come from the mouth of Kanell, but nothing like the latest statement. Kanell suggested that SEC teams are 'terrified' to travel up north in the College Football Playoffs due to the cold weather.

Danny Kanell questioning sports athletes' mentality is hilarious

Speaking on "Kanell's Conspiracies" segment on CBS Sports on Saturday, he laid into the SEC once again.

"I think the SEC is terrified to travel up north to try and play a road Playoff game."

This feels like a trolling segment from Kanell, as questioning an athlete's mentality to play the sport they are good at in any environment is funny.

I am not saying that certain games aren't more challenging than others; the weather conditions are different for SEC teams in places like Columbus or Pennsylvania, and it's a challenge. However, to say that staff and players are 'terrified' of playing a Playoff game in any condition or environment is a wild take.

Most have been associated with the game for years, some waiting to play on the biggest stage. Yes, they will have nerves, but that does not make them scared of playing a game in cold weather.

We will see how the CFP bracket unfolds over the next two weeks. However, if an SEC team loses to Ohio State on the road, it won't be because they are scared. I'm sure Danny Kanell will spin it that way, though.
