David Pollack stamps what rest of SEC learned the hard way about Trinidad Chambliss

Ole Miss Rebels found their generational talent in Trinidad Chambliss, and they keep getting reminders about it every single day.

Deep into the offseason and desperately awaiting any spring updates on Chambliss, analyst David Pollack dished out another small reminder on why Chambliss is the "clutch player" at Ole Miss.

Trinidad Chambliss top clutch football player

"After watching the playoff, it's Chambliss," Pollack said when talking about who the clutch player is at Ole Miss.

"Like, absolutely. I bet you his numbers might not be the elite of the elite because I remember the Georgia game, he was really bad in the fourth quarter. The first one. The second one, hold my beer. When he played in the playoff, I was literally like, he didn't lose to Miami in the fourth quarter; he ran out of time. Otherwise, he would have gotten it done. So, Trinidad would easily come to mind as No. 1."

Nothing new with seeing Chambliss as a No. 1 QB on another list. In fact, the hype surrounding Chambliss, especially after his drawn-out fight for an additional year of eligibility, has the Rebels Nation beyond hyped to see him lead Ole Miss to the National Championship run this season.

Pollack's co-host also cited some of the eye-popping production from Chambliss, but the Rebels' eye-test from the previous season tells them all they need to know.

Chambliss is rightfully opening the season as the No. 1 QB of the class and is expected to continue riding the momentum until he gets to New York this season to lift the Heisman Trophy.
