Do Ole Miss fans want to see Notre Dame or Ohio State win the National Championship?

There is likely one clear answer to who Ole Miss football fans want to win the National Championship.

The two teams competing in the 2025 College Football National Championship Game have been set. Notre Dame will face Ohio State. Both want to end prolonged droughts, with the Fighting Irish on a much longer streak without a championship.

Ole Miss had high aspirations of making the big game but faltered, missing out on the playoffs. However, some fans will still turn on the television to watch the Fighting Irish and the Buckeyes battle it out.

One question for the Rebels fans: Who would they want to see victorious in the National Championship game on January 20? If you have followed Ole Miss football over the last year, there is likely only one answer.

The Rebels will likely be cheering on Notre Dame, so they don't see Buckeyes running back Quinshon Judkins winning it all.

The Ole Miss fanbase is still unhappy that Judkins hit the portal last year and transferred to Ohio State. Jaxson Dart and the rest of the Rebels stayed for the "Last Dance," with Judins heading for a new challenge.

The anger came from reports that Judkins demanded more than $1 million of NIL from Ole Miss, something that head coach Lane Kiffin was unprepared to do.

There has also been plenty of back and forth between Judkins' mother and Ole Miss fans on social media, which would make a Notre Dame win even sweeter for the fanbase.

The bad blood is enough for the majority of Oxford to be seen cheering on the Fighting Irish; it gives them an opportunity to say he didn't win anything with his new team.

An added extra for a Notre Dame win is getting to taunt LSU head coach Brian Kelly, who left as head coach of the Fighting Irish to become the Tigers head coach. This bold move may look like a bad one after January 20.
