Sean Pedulla was the hero once again as Ole Miss basketball secured a quarterfinal place in the SEC Tournament. Pedulla sunk a 3-pointer with just over a second remaining to give the Rebels an 83-80 win over Arkansas.

It was not the whole story of the final seconds, with Razorbacks forward Trevon Brazile missing two free throws at 80-80. The second miss was collected by Dre Davis, who gave it to Pedulla, who showcased his magic once again.

The game-winner had former Ole Miss player and cult legend Marshall Henderson pumped in the stand. The shot from Pedulla had Henderson vibes, and it had the former Rebel jumping up and down in his Ole Miss merchandise.

Chris Beard's side took an eight-point lead into halftime. The Razorbacks fought back in the second half, but Pedulla had the final say. He finished with ten points, one of five players who hit double-digit scoring; Malik Dia led the team with 19 points and led the team alongside Dre Davis in rebounds with eight.

Head coach Chris Beard was pleased with the performance and, speaking to ESPN, said the team was here to win the tournament

"We actually came here to win this tournament, not just get to the third round. ... We're working towards a championship here."
Chris Beard

It's going to be some effort if they were to do that. However, whatever the outcome, Ole Miss is heading in the right direction with Coach Beard. He has secured an NCAA Tournament place in his second season with the Rebels. It was 2019 the last time they appeared in March Madness.

Ole Miss set up a quarterfinal game against the best team in the country. They face Auburn tomorrow and are looking to cause another big shock to add to the several they have had this season.
