Game Update: Trinidad Chambliss is having himself another game

The senior is handling his first SEC road game like an old pro

It's been an amazing display of offense at Sanford Stadium and Chambliss is clearly comfortable in a road environment. Early in the fourth quarter, the Rebels are up 35-33, and they've scored touchdowns on every offensive series of the game thus far.

If Chambliss wasn't in the Heisman mix before today's game (and he should have been), his performance through three quarters should erase all doubts. So far, the senior has thrown for 262 yards and a touchdown and added 42 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground.

As we've come to expect from Chambliss, he has ice in his veins, and he has been a step ahead of the Bulldogs' defense all game thus far. The big play for Ole Miss came on the first snap of the second half when Chambliss silenced the Georgia crowd with a 75-yard touchdown to De'Zhaun Stribling.

Kewan Lacy has also rushed for two touchdowns. The Rebels' defense has been leaky, but they have forced the Bulldogs into a couple of field goals and a missed two-point conversion. Those saved points could be the difference in this SEC shootout.

Lane Kiffin's troll game stays on point

Lane Kiffin just can't help himself, especially when it comes to razzing an old co-worker.

Last week, Georgia coach Kirby Smart went viral for lying to officials about calling a timeout. Smart called a timeout, but when the timeout was granted, he claimed he was just clapping. And oddly enough, the SEC officials believed him...or they just really hated Hugh Freeze. Who knows?

Anyway, Kiffin is never one to let a moment die. So when he called a timeout late in the first half today, he jokingly told the officials that he was clapping. This time they didn't fall for it, but it never hurts to try, right?
