As we roll closer to the 2025 NFL draft, mock drafts come at us from all angles. Just short of two months away from day 1, it's still a question mark how many Ole Miss players will be selected in the first round.

NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah has dropped his latest 2025 NFL mock draft, 2.0 edition. In his first effort, which came out at the end of January, he had just one Ole Miss player selected in the first round.

Jeremiah selected defensive tackle Walter Nolen for the Cincinnati Bengals with the 17th pick. In the theoretical situation, Nolen would join three other former Rebels, Cedric Johnson, Mike Hilton, and Daijhan Anthony. Although he never suited up alongside them.

In his 2.0 edition, he was selected five spots earlier at the No.12 pick. Nolen is heading to the Dallas Cowboys, teaming former Rebels Sam Williams and Jonathan Mingo.

Daniel Jeremiah wrote:

"Nolen is a very twitchy disrupter and could replace Osa Odighizuwa if he departs in free agency."

Nolen, again, was the only Ole Miss player selected by Jeremiah in the first round. But with still two months to go, we could see more creep in, especially after the NFL combine.

Princely Umanmielen, Jaxson Dart, and Trey Amos are all Ole Miss players who could push to make the first round in April. Dart, especially, is projected to go into the end of the first, ranked the third quarterback prospect by many.

Umanmielen has been selected in several mock drafts at the end of the first, but that has died down over the last month.

Cornerback Trey Amos is a dark horse in the first round of selection. The former Alabama player who transferred to Ole Miss before the 2024 season is getting plenty of hype.
